He was born on the 15th of Feb. He started his schooling in St.Xavier's School, Jawalkhel then went to Logan, Utah, USA for 5 years and came back to St. Xavier's School Jawalkhel in Class 9. Then he did his 10+2 from Campion Academy and went on to his Bachelor's In Computer Science from Campion College.

He has become the president of the student counsel in Campion Academy and the General Secretary of the student counsel at Campion College. He was also the editor of the Campion Newsletter-- "the campionite" and also the member of the basketball team. He had a band called "Life Sucks" in Campion and performed in almost all the occasions at his college. He was also Mr. Campion. His theory behind "Life Sucks" was life might not be alwayz good but we have to work hard to make it. He started his radio career in Dec. of 1998. And recorded his first single with his former band "Nirnaya & Da' Allstarz" which consisted of Pranab on the Bass & Sameer on the lead guitar. After a successful single "Bring Da' House Down," which was about the situation of the country, the team pretty much drifted apart and Rappaz Union was born, You can read all about it in the history section of the www.sajilo.com/rappazunion.

He is also the executive member of CEEN, Center for Environmental Education Nepal. An organization which just started and is yet to make an impact. He is also into social work with his band and the sajilo.com's sajilo cares program. Usually performing for social awareness and benefits. He has performed for benefits of kidney patients to AID. He is known as one of the most socially motivated artist of Nepal contributing through his music. He has done more than 50 charity concerts.

His family includes 2 sisters and a brother, wife, sister-in-law, mom and dad. He currently has 3 dogs, ginger, jockey n' da' jango and a couple of fish.

He has also been featured on the cover of magazines like Wave twice and Aaha Sangeet.
His theory in life is "don't judge a book by it's cover" because people usually see him and think anyone into hip hop is into drugs and alcohol but our NSK proves everyone wrong because he doesn't smoke or drink, drugs is a far away thing. He says "Youngsters need to see that drinking, smoking, doing drugs is not the only way of escaping your problem. It's been 26 years of my life and I've never ever put an alcohol or a cigarette in my mouth. That just shows that, if I can do it, so can u. Do something constructive, put your mind at work and u'll escape your bad habits." Taking about habits, you'll usually find da' NSK with a gum in his mouth.

He is known as one of the most energetic man on the music field. And when it's time for the stage, he says he goes blind and the only thing that comes infront of him is the song, "When the mic's infront of me, I'm a different Man". His stage performance has been appreciated by everyone who's seen him on stage.

NSK is right now one of the most loved, respected & adored people of Nepal, Let's hope he remains just as Nice (that's what I think the N stands for in the NSK)& Neat (that's what the Himalayan Times thinks the N stands for in the NSK), and Nepali as I see it, as he is. Some have said he is "The N in Nepali Hip Hop". He has been stated as the person who revolutionized Nepali Music by crossing hip hop over with Nepali sound, creating his own Nepali Hip Hop Sound.

Under Rappaz Union he has released 3 albums "Fo' Ya' All", "Da' Game Mus' Go On" (both English) and "Da' Nepali Touch. He released his first video "I Feel Ya'" from his album "Da' Game Mus' Go On", but since it was in English, the video got very little airplay. Da' Nepali Touch was an instant hit as was the song "Din Pani" which gave the band their 1st No. 1 hit and many awards like "Image Award", Channel Nepali Music Video Award, Kantipur FM's 3rd Most Airplayed Band Of the year, and many others. He has toured all across Nepali from Pokhara, to Biratnagar to Chitwan to name a few. Now, he's solo with "Ma Nepali - NSK Style".

His single "Ma Nepali", featuring Mausami Gurung has made an impact on the music scenario and won many awards,. And his single "Gaule Jiwan", featuring Prasna Shakya is a current club and fan favorite. He's new video "Aama" which features Nalina Chitrakar and "Pyasi" featuring Ayusha Shrestha has been released and can be downloaded for free.

After both the songs released Ma Nepali and Gaule Jiwan hit no. 1 on the radio, print media and the television, "Ma Nepali" wins the "Best Vocal Performance With National Feeling" at the 7th Annual Image Award 2061 and as stated before he has been named the Best Hip Hop and Rap Artist for this year at the Kalika FM Music Award.
